Items to rank

Add images or text to start ranking.
Drag an item into a row. On a phone, tap an item once and then tap the row you want it in. Click a tier letter to rename it, or use the colour dot to change the row colour.

When to start from blank

Start blank when your topic is personal or niche: your own holiday photos, the people in your group chat, every meal you cooked this month. If you are ranking something a lot of people rank, the template library probably has the set already and saves you the typing.

Adding your items

  • Add images opens your normal file picker and takes as many files as you like at once.
  • You can also drag image files straight onto the chart.
  • Ctrl and V pastes an image from your clipboard.
  • Add text takes a plain list, one item per line, which is the fastest way to fill a chart.

Changing the tiers

The five rows are only a starting point. Click any letter to rename it, use the colour dot to change the row colour, and press Add tier for more rows. The full walkthrough is in how to make a tier list.

Common questions

Is this tier list maker free?
Yes. Every part of tierlistmaker.si is free, with no account, no paid plan and no watermark. Make as many tier lists as you like, add as many images as you like, and download each one at full quality.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no login and no email box. Open the page, build the chart, save the image, and that is the whole of it.
How many tier list templates are there?
311 ready sets, spread across 15 categories: anime, video games, gacha games, Roblox games, Pokemon, football, other sports, music, K-pop, TV and film, cartoons, food, everyday life, brands and countries. Each one opens in the maker with real pictures and stays editable.
What are the tier letters in order?
From best to worst: S, A, B, C, D, and F for the truly bad. S sits above A because the scale comes from Japanese grading, where S means special or superior. Most charts use five rows, S down to D, and you can rename or recolour any of them.
Can I use my own images?
Yes. Press Add images and pick as many files as you like from your phone or computer, paste one straight from the clipboard with Ctrl and V, or drag image files onto the board. There is no limit and no watermark on what you upload.
Are my pictures uploaded anywhere?
No. The tier list maker runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read on your own device and never reach a server, which is also why the page keeps working when you lose signal.
Does the tier list maker work on a phone?
Yes. Drag with a finger, or tap an item once and then tap the row you want it in, which is easier on a small screen. The rows, the item pool and the toolbar all reflow for phones.
How do I save or share a tier list?
Press Save image for a high-resolution PNG, which downloads at once and looks far cleaner than a screenshot. Press Share to copy a link that carries the ranking inside it, so anyone who opens it can edit a copy of their own.
What does S tier mean?
S tier sits above A tier. The letter comes from Japanese grading, where S stands for special or superior. It is used for things that are clearly better than everything else on the list.
Can I add more than five tiers?
Yes. Press Add tier for a new row, then use the small controls beside each row to reorder it, rename any tier, change their colors or delete it. You can add or remove as many tiers as you like.
Can I share a link instead of an image?
Yes. The Share button copies a link that carries your list inside it. Anyone who opens it sees your ranking and can start editing their own copy right away.
